Live and Education

Born on November 28, 1975 in Graz and raised in Leibnitz (Southern Styria).
Primary school (Volksschule II, 1982-1986) and high school (BRG, 1986-1994) in Leibnitz.
Study of Technical Mathematics at the Graz University of Technology (1994-1999).
Graduation September 1999 with distinction.
Topic of the diploma thesis: Brownsche Bewegung auf Fraktalen.
PhD-Studies at the Graz University of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Peter Grabner (1999-2002).
Graduation November 2002 with distinction.
Topic of the thesis: Asymptotic Problems Related to Self-Similar Graphs and Fractals.
The thesis was awarded the "Studienpreis der Österreichischen Mathematischen Gesellschaft" in October 2003.
